HuisWeter is a service of UsesvIT (Dutch Chamber of Commerce number 91168201). By using the website, you agree to these terms.

Information, not advice

HuisWeter brings together public data about homes and neighbourhoods and puts it in perspective. It is general information: not a valuation, not financial, legal or structural advice, and not an offer of a home. If you are deciding whether to buy, rent or finance a home, get advice from a valuer, an estate agent, a building surveyor or a financial adviser.

Estimates and mistakes

We do our best to keep the figures correct and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that everything is accurate, complete or current. Sources can contain mistakes or be out of date, and some figures are estimates, such as the market value and the monthly costs. How each figure is arrived at is shown with that figure and on the Methodology page. If you spot a mistake, let us know through Contact.

Liability

UsesvIT is not liable for damage resulting from the use of HuisWeter or from decisions you make based on the information on the website, except in the case of intent or gross negligence, and to the extent permitted by law. This also applies if the website is temporarily unavailable.

Sources, photos and rights

  • Third-party data falls under the licence of its source, for example CC BY 4.0 for CBS and ODbL for OpenStreetMap. The sources we use are listed on the Sources page.
  • Photos of homes for sale come from the listing site and remain the property of the rights holder; photos of areas come from Wikimedia Commons, credited with their author and licence.
  • HuisWeter's own texts, design and calculations belong to UsesvIT. You may share a report or write about it with a reference to HuisWeter; copying the website or its data in bulk is not allowed without permission.

Fair use

Use HuisWeter for your own orientation. It is not permitted to read the website automatically and on a large scale, to disrupt how it works or to get around its security.

Links to other websites

HuisWeter links to other people's websites, such as sources and listing sites. We are not responsible for their content.

Changes and applicable law

We may change these terms; the latest version is always on this page. These terms are governed by Dutch law. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy statement.
